Advanced Apple Performers

About the Class: For our experienced 10-15 year olds, this class offers middle school aged performers a challenge in taking the next step in musical theater performance. Differing from younger age groups in content and expectation, students who enroll in this class participate in rehearsals two days a week, an in-class audition (everyone is guaranteed a role in the show), and intense training in acting, character development, comedic timing, script analysis and performance! 

About the show:We hate Shakespeare! At least that's what the audience thinks until they get a rip-roaring rundown of Shakespeare's classics. With zombies, talking cows, and an appearance by Jerry Springer, I Hate Shakespeare! is a hilarious and fast-paced introduction to Shakespeare -- with a modern twist. Plus, someone gets a pie in the face.

What’s included in the fee:

1. A positive and fun-filled rehearsal and performance experience
2. Performance and rehearsal materials (script, music, etc.)
3. A show t-shirt
4. 1 DVD of the final performance
5. A digital link to cast photos
6. Snacks during show days

What’s not included in the fee:

1. Standard Costume Bases: often black/brown dress pants, jazz pants, black skirt, leggings
2. Dance shoes
3. Tickets to the show
4. Costumes made for the show.

Please note the following:

Your deposit that you placed to hold your child’s place is non-refundable. It pays for class materials, and the rights for the show. If you decide to withdraw from the class, your deposit has already gone towards paying for the above and therefore cannot be refunded or transferred to a future class.

A partial refund may be made before class 3 at the discretion of the Board of Directors if you have a good reason.  Past exemption have been granted for medical emergencies, deaths in the family or other major hardships.  

No refunds will be made after class 3. By this time costumes are being made, sets and props have been established, and it is too late for another child to take your child’s place. Please communicate withdrawals to our staff before class 3 (third week) to receive your partial refund.
